gameplay-guide:
Use dagger/warhorn to get as much life force as possible in as short a time as possible. Then go into death shroud and just attack stuff. Life Blast works fine.
Use Axe/Focus for the vulnerability stacks, life force, retaliation and the regeneration etc.
When you get out of life force the first time use all your spectral skills and if possible the dagger auto attack to get life force back as soon as possible. Use a healing skill if you see that your health is going low and use death shroud right after to start attacking again, kiting is the key.
Downing folk is pretty easy but stomping not so much so I added a well to help you with that. Normally I use the signet that generates life force but I’m guessing this is needed more in this build. 50sec cooldown is pretty harsh but its worth it if you can pull off a safe stomp otherwise just stay in death shroud and auto-attack ’m when she or he is in their downed state. That works too but is quite time consuming.

Side note: I really like the well of darkness, it makes me wanna make a build revolving around using it with traited chills on blind. But I haven’t figured how I’m gonna do that yet. Thanks for the build idea doe!
^ is actually an interesting build its got the bunker and the nuke going and it seems more effective in roaming and pvp than regular WvW but at the same time thats good because we dont have many roamer builds available

Strangely this build is quite effective against conditions due to the high life force. You stay in death shroud 80% of the time and the moment conditions eat away at it you just use your heal skill to condition clear, up your life force quickly with spectral skills, go back to death shroud with the warhorn no.5 on then DS no. 4 and y’ll be back at 40-80% life force again. Long enough for attleast another 8-15 seconds which is often enough to win the fight.

Condi clears aren’t just for damaging condis, any build using any form of cc would destroy you. You can’t build lifeforce if you can’t even attack.

Yeah, I took what you said to heart so if you reserve Staff no. 4 and Dagger in off-hand no. 4 for the condi clearing. Each of those can transfer 3 conditions to the opponent hit with it. This way it also turns into an offensive power. Got the idea when I took down a PU mesmer with it.
