Think we got some fixes.
Spectral Walk got a buff, now you gain life force if hit while active, you use again to port back, you let it run out if you just want speed, and no vulnerability penalty.
yea, want to know the fix we got? Blood Fiend used to say 6.7k heal and heal for 4.3k. Now it says 4.3k and heals for 4.3k. Less health than casting well.
Worst heal in the game by far.

So they fixed a tooltip and you’re complaining? Minion siphons health on attack which is the reason for it’s lower active heal.

cool, we got a bunch of bugs in some bad/useless skills fixed….oh wait, half of them are tooltip updates
still missing the most serious bugs on our important skills
still the class will suck and be 5 steps behind guardians mesmers or thieves even when all bugs are ironed out

it’s the exact same spell except reversed…? only people this helps are new players who didn’t understand the utility of this skill in the first place
You can now time your return much better and gain life force.
Edit: You decide, when you want to leave the enemy zerg in WvW. You don’t have to hope you survive until it toggles.
Edit2: Minions still wothless here. Have to test some more though.

On my wife’s Necro I checked Greater Marks and it seems to be working properly now, even though it wasn’t mentioned in the patch notes.
The actual place marker isn’t larger but as soon as you put it down, the marks are a lot bigger. Also, when she dodges, Mark of Blood is pretty huge.
10 bug fix in 10 days, 97 to go, cheer up mates in 3 MONTHS we will be fully playable!! -_-
New spectral walk is a double stun break that allows you to juke melee. Very useful.

I am LOVING the new spectral walk. No, you don’t base a build around it, but it’s great when added into it.
Dig the new spectral walk, still find it hard to fit in my WvW Wells support though. Epidemic is a must have, Well of Power is needed as cleric support while Well of Darkness is one of the best skills we have.
Well … some fixes, thats nice, but none of those fixes will fix the necro gameplay. Siphon still bugged (thus vampiric build is off), minions still dumb as a rock (thus minion master build is off), no fixes to conditionmaster skillset …
I mean, great thing they started, but hey, all classes have been getting fixes for like a month now. We got our first fixes of less important stuff today … I appreciate the change, I really do, but can’t appreciate the results. Not until something of importance is fixed.
Greater Marks is still broken for Chillblains. Enemies that trigger the edge of the mark will not get damage or conditions — they have to hit where the smaller, untraited mark would be.

its a good start, but commom everyone was expecting plague signet and corrupt boon was fixed on this patch.
at least spectral wall aply now 10vul, now people will start see this skill like a wall, maybe is better not pass this wall because give a insane 10 vul plus give us a great protection boon.
the greater mark correction is great too, but plague signet and corrupt boon that are the best right now for tournaments we still are waiting, maybe next patch….

No, Greater Marks isn’t totally fixed.
The lesser issue is that the marks don’t show up large when you hover over where you want to place them — when you drop them they are the correct, larger size.
The bigger issue is that Chillblains isn’t working with it yet. If an enemy triggers the edge of the mark, it will not take damage or receive conditions. It works fine if you drop the mark in the center on top of an enemy.
Essentially, this problem with Chillblains makes me completely ignore this trait in WvW until it is fixed, as the trait actually makes it worse.

spectral walk is awesome? is better than before but is the same thing, except now you have more control and dont get 3 vulnerability, common the skill doenst change much.
spectral wall now work as suppose and that is awesome but people for some reason are hyping spectral walk, they did the same thing with WoS like it did insane damage.
the most important fixes for tournaments like corrupt boon and plague signet we still get nothing.
Hey, at least you get 10 every 10 days. The elementalist got 2 lol. Nah, good for you guys. We eles and necros have to stick together as the bugged classes from hell.
I’m not starting a war “who’s cooler”, but necro still have more bugs than all other classes combined.

AI in Arena Nets dictionary for acronym means: Artificial Idiocy. More doesn’t need to be said about the minions inteligence or lack thereof.
Also, why oh way are we not able to give some commands to our minions like: aggressive stance, passive stance, mark a point they should wait…and most needed “attack THIS and bloody hell only THIS target”. The latter would solve so many issues
Halo, those people may have reported bugs but you can be sure they didn’t find a way to reproduce them in-house, investigate the causes in the code/server infrastructure, come up with an actual way of fixing them or put in the week or so of time if took to test those fixes to make sure that they don’t make things worse for Necromancers or people playing other classes.
It took 10 days for the first of these fixes to make its way through that process we can expect more fixes to come.
Yes, it’s important to acknowledge the people who reported the bugs, they’re the people who are feeling the pain and we should appreciate the effort they put in but to take away from ArenaNet here is not just wrong it’s also bloody rude to people who are putting in serious effort to try to fix the problems we’re having.

The Necromancer Bug Compilation created by the user They are Hashes and updated with the collaboration of other players has indeed proved to be very very useful to the devs up to this point and it will remain useful in the future and we are very thankful for the deep involvement of the community.
On the other hand, the dev team works daily and faithfully to fix issues and problems that are reported.
It is a double effort here, and we are all rowing in the same direction.

Fixing tooltips and buffing an ability not many people use. Buffing traits NOBODY uses because the larger issue (vampiric? Too bad it heals for garbage, oh Minion Master! Good thing minions are garbage) of still being sokitteninbugged. Ill appreciate effort, when effort is shown.
Side note – good thing heartseeker spamming won’t miss as much!

I consider the Spectral Walk rework a buff, the only thing we “lost” is the life transfer suicide port, and we can still do that.

The change makes it so that you can control whether or not you want to teleport back to where you started from, and when. That is a huge upgrade in functionality. I have no idea how this change to that skill could even be perceived as a nerf. Please explain.

No, no, no! Ignore this person!
Spectral Walk now has MORE potential than it did before. Before when you used it you had to wait for the 6s to get teleported back to your original location or choose not to. The new change allows you to chose exactly when you want to teleport back, making it a hundred times more useful in PvP, because you can fake out other players much more easily.

You don’t need to, it gives you a timer on the screen.
Spectral Walk change was a buff in my mind. Most of the time I find that I just double clicked it for swiftness or to get out of stun. It was few and far in between where I would use it for a suicide charge.

Can’t wait to go home and try spectral walk, with the life force gain I’ll give my death shroud build another try and the way it works now sounds more useful as a stunbreak.

And a much lower cooldown.
The fact that u could activate it, run into a mob, drop your aoe wells, turn DS and lifetransfer and the walk would take u back. He percieves it as a nerf because you have to pop out of ds and manually activate the port back. Basically “Anet, u nerfed da spectral walk qq I have to think while i play”

I was referring to large scale PvP, not some mobs. Try getting out death shroud whilst being focused by 40+ people and not die.
That is what the teleport ability on the skill you are talking about is for…
Alternative, I have found that dodging twice works pretty well.

I’m glad we are finally getting some attention, however I think most of us were hoping for more critical fixes like % damage not affecting conditions, chillblains aoe size, and the multiple condition transfer skill issues.
Lets stay positive and keep updating the sticky, we cant let those elementalists out bug us
