I am currently making a build for trolling in etom and sky-hammer mostly using SGrasp and SWall which mostly involves pulling and fearing people off. So I was wondering what gear runes, stat combos ,trait line/skills and food would be the most effective for doing this

There are 2 ways for you to troll in EoTM.
1st way: Spectral Powermancer with a thief friend. You take spectral walk grasp and wall along with lich form. You go all zerk with preferably on crit proc sigils. Idea is to burst once your thef friend stealths you. Life blasr + doom or lich form from stealth is pretty fun.
2nd way: I think something close to terrormancer should work. You definitely need corrupt boon, reapers protection, master of terror and rune of nightmare. And get wither spectral walk or wurm cause they will catch you often.

I use a 0/6 (I,IX,X)/4(V,VIII)/0/4(IV,IX) build.

I use runes of Necromancer for +20% fear
Superior Sigil of Malice for condi duration
36% Super Veggie Pizza for condi duration

Spectral Wall and Spectral Walk.

Everything else is whatever you want.

There’s a trick on Edge of the Mists involving Spectral Walk, Spectral Grasp, and cliffs that I imagine will work on Skyhammer in some locations.

1. Activate Spectral Walk near a ledge.

2. Start casting Spectral Grasp at your desired yoink.

3. Jump off the ledge as far as you can during the cast of Spectral Grasp.

4. Activate Spectral Return after Spectral Grasp hits its target.

Net result: you’re sitting on the map, the target gets thrown off the edge.

A simpler trick is just moving to a panel, then going Spectral Grasp→ Dark Pact. They’ll be immobilized long enough to fall.

On skyham take soldier/celestial amu with all the spectral, staying in DS and DS heal trait. i think u can even take the longer fear trait.
Energy sigils, plague. Probably staff + dager/x (horn or dagger)

The goal is to have as much survival, giving you a chance to pull every 24s.

In eotm, you can go for a tanky dire condi build, where you focus on condi duration and fear duration. Remember if you want to fear off ledge, dont reflexly use ds#2 as everyone walks faster and further with swiftnes than with chill.
You can pass the nerfed nightmare runes but reapers protection is great on those close places, and its aoe.

Just a note on “trolling,” if you are not violating the game mechanics, you are not trolling. Anet is responsible for balance, not you.

If you really wanted to troll, quit the game during a match.
