Hello fellow Necros,
So ive been farming in Orr both solo and events, and I have been getting jack kitten.

Im a condition spec, with wells/epidemic style of play, even on crazy events like defending the Pact on orr when the waves of risen keep coming, I can “tag” basically all of them through wells, and a well placed epidemic hit, but when the smoke clears Im lucky if there is more then one body to loot.

My magic find isnt the greatest, probably rocking about 60-80%. Is there a certain build type? or a good tactic to use so i can get more actually lootable bodies even if its just vendor trash to make some sort of money?

You will need to do more damage. I always recommend going through Orr with a group of friends as it will increase your drops. I tend to put up 2 wells on my bar along with the Asura racial ‘well’ whenever there is an area that waves of mobs come to I setup shop and drop wells, use staff abilities, and utilize deathshroud aoe as much as possible.

thanks, i seem to be able to land a multiple stacks of bleeds on large groups of mobs, but i guess because of how much dmg is flying around it just doesn’t add up enough before everyone else s direct dmg ends up killing the mobs. >_<

do you get exp? if so you’re getting loot and just hitting the anti-farm code. which happens super fast in orr because they’re all undead and thus catagorized as the same mob type.

The way to tell whether your damage is a problem is to see if you’re getting exp for killing the mobs. If you’re getting exp it’s an anti farm code problem. If you arn’t getting exp it’s a problem of not doing enough damage. I am not really sure how the formulas work but it seems that just doing 1 pt of damage isn’t enough to get exp and therefore loot. I am not sure in theoretical terms how the break point is determined.

In practical terms I find if you hit a mob for at least 500ish damage that is usually enough to get exp for it.

Some people I have talked to generally switch between farming mobs in Orr > World vrs World >and Frostgorge to maximize profit and minimize the bot code. You might give switching it up a try.

Just want to say on wells build you need power
Wells don’t scale with Cond Power.They apply conditions on foes but the Pulse dmg is based on power,they an also Crit and hit structures-siege weapons(balistas,gates,walls anything)
