Turning my Power Reaper into Condi ?
Lich is there for skill 4, which summons rats that produce bleeds. Blood is there mostly for quickening thirst, and is often replaced by Death. 3d utility is flexible. The big combos you shouldn’t mess up are CPC-BiP-dagger 4 for transfers and RS5-RS4 for Deathly chill bleed stacking.
As for gear – this one will probably take you over duration cap, but you get the idea )
Speed is there, damage is solid, but requires some windup, and survivability comes from syphons on RS usage, shortCD awesome heal and the fact that you are fully ranged so rarely stand in kitten.

I have been tinkering with condition damage builds for open world HoT.
Use Giver’s weapons for scepter and dagger rather than Viper’s.
Use Dire, Carrion, or Sinister armor. Viper’s armor gives less than 14 per cent duration increase where a pair of Giver’s with superior Sigil of Malice give 30 per cent all by themselves, as do food and utility consumables. Save Viper’s for your trinkets.
Rune of the sunless reduces incoming condition duration and adds a free fear/Terror to the elite shout.
CPC stops projectiles. Epidemic does its copy-paste thing. And Rise provides desperately needed damage reduction.
Thanks for the suggestions guys.
I see you guys don’t add Spite and Soul Reaping. No Spite would mean no self Might. And no Soul Reaping would mean no Dhuumfire. I understand we can’t have all traits of course..
I always had the impression that stacking Might is the way to boost dps, and fire is obviously the best condition by far.. Can I really hope to keep great dps without those traitlines?
For the best damage, go Vipers. Givers weapons are terrible because they don’t have any condition duration on them.

If you care more about survival, Dire/Rabid, anything really. Just make sure you get 100% condition duration from your food/runes. Krait runes are pretty cheap and a good place to get started before you go into raids or high level fractals.
Mobility comes from using an offhand warhorn and RS#2 to leap to places.

I rely on Carrion (++ condition damage, +power, +vitality) stats. I can solo pretty much any champion and i have soloed Twilight arbor with this build.
I’m doing my condinecro build video soon, but this is mainly it.
In PvE, i switch signet of spite to signet of locust to et more mobility.
This build can melt anyone, but i myself i’m struggling with good roamer thieves in WvW.
If you want to see, i recorder my solo Twilight Arbor run:
Im on fire in Ring of Fire
I will check if Giver’s is bugged, again, or secretly nerfed.
You can get might from Chilling Victory and precious LF from Blighter’s Boon. Scepter is short on LF generation, which I really need in HoT roaming. Keep in mind that might and vulnerability are essentially the same in solo play. Neither are all that valuable compared to Cc, defense, and dps skills.
To be honest, I have not found a condition damage build that comes close to a zerker reaper build in solo play for dps with sustain. MM is the safest solo dps build, though. I recommend it for all Necomancers just getting started in HoT.
I advocate Rabid. You have a trait that converts part of your precision to condi damage, and another trait that transfers conditions on you to the enemy upon acquiring 3 of them on a crit. Also, since you are gonna be good at giving away your conditions, toughness helps to deal with the other type of damage in the game.
Viper is also really good, but only cause of expertise. You lose some condi damage and precision to get that, so which is preferable depends on build and playstyle.
You can swap out CPC with locust signet when running around.
Seems condi duration beats out condi damage, so max that out first, then add whatever condi dmg you can. This build also has potential to cap might and vulnerability solo. The food I choose is cheap enough to maintain all the time.
