Q:
Does anyone know how to beat 1v1 turret engi with a power necro build 6/2/0/0/6 in yoloQ? (Axe-focus/dagger-warhorn) Everytime I face them in close or mid, I get ping ponged to oblivion. I try my best to stay away from their turrets and their riffle knock down, but with 0 LF, and 600 max range with that crap axe, and LF blast doing maximum damage at.. 600, It’s kind of hard to even scratch them without getting close enough. And you know, I don’t want to waste my elite for 1v1…

A:
Wells won’t kill the turrets, mind you. Turrets are immune to crits, crit damage, don’t have boons to corrupt, are immune to all conditions + with Turret engi they’re self-healing.
Grasping Engi off the point isn’t that possible either. Pull is body-blockable which means turrets will stop it, it’s very visible and will not give you even a decap unless you follow it with e.g. Fear/Immobilize.
Better turret engineers set up their turrets around the point in a manner that ou are always in-range of one of the turrets’ KB.
One of the best deals is to use Unholy Feast on all targets if possible, it should keep up perma-retaliation with good rotating.
You see, it’s possible to kill that Engineer as Powermancer. But it simply takes time, cooldowns, kiting and LoSing. And your team just loses points.
It’s just not worth your effort. Spamgineer may totally faceroll and he will serve his purpose.
Better leave him to Medi Guardians, Warriors or Elementalists
Their CC is in their turrets. If you engage the engi head on, you’ll get locked down and creamed. Usually, if an engi sets up, it is possible to crack down on the turrets before they can get a lot of CC off. Once the turrets are down, the Engi’s control and damage take a serious hit.
Foot in the Grave would be a really helpful trait. Otherwise, I haven’t been in PVP long enough to give much more advice.
If you don’t want to blow lich, just don’t fight them. Power Necro isn’t able to fight them well unless you specifically build around doing it (which is dumb).
I think turret engineers are one of the few over-powered class/builds atm, I wouldn’t recommend fighting them in any conventional way — your time is better spent elsewhere in PvP.

You may want to come back pvping, power necro without Death Perception is crap. I know their cc is in their turrets: I’m aware of my environnement. I just wanted to know if there is way to 1v1 them with the standard necro power build as I usually play condition. Anyway, I got the response I wanted from Bhawb.7408, and Domzz.1260. Thank you
Honestly, your only answer could be Lich. If it’s on cd, don’t even try to engage.
Turret spamgineer is broken as hell and not worth your effort as a Powermancer. Better move to other starting point i.e. close or far.
Turret engi isn’t that good for point swaps (well, we neither) and after picking up turrets he will have cd on them.
Wells, when the drop turret you drop well on top, use.spectral Grasp lock them in with dagger. Siphoning wells do more damage and heal you
If life force is an issue you could try to pull the engi off the point with Spectral Grasp.
Or you walk on point and try to tank and destroy the turrets at the same time. With Gluttony you’ll get about 2% lf with Locust Swarm and ~1.3% lf from Well of Corruption. Those two skills alone will give you a total of 140% life force if you stand in the middle of the engi’s supply drop. Add Spectral Armor before you go into DS and you’ll have about 10-15 seconds of being almost immune to damage.
If you don’t stand within the knock back radius of the Accelerant-Packed Turrets (range 120), the only CC you’ll have to watch out for is their rifle’s Overcharged Shot. But once he used it you should be able to get an uninterrupted Life Transfer channel(again more life force). That combined with Tainted Shackles and a precast Well of Suffering should be anough to destroy all turrets.
All that being said, you are better off not risking the engagement at all. Let the engi rot on that one point and just outnumber the opposing team on the rest of the map.

He specifically states the type of build he’s running, and you state not only siphoning wells which he won’t have, but also grasp, which he won’t have.
The whole point is “can I handle the turret engi in my current build” the answer to which is basically no.
To be fair, he didn’t say which utilities he is using.
On the other hand, a 6 point investment in Blood Magic for ~50 (?) extra damage per well pulse would probably net much lower damage overall when you need to give up points in Spite or Soul Reaping in return.

Yeah, sorry about that. The utilities I’m using are: Spectral armor,Well of suffering/corruption.
Corruption is fun stuff and all but Spectral Grasp is a great utility for an instand Life Force booster. Also the Staff is a great weapon for replacing the axe as it provides more control and generates great life force at range.
On the subject of your build though, I am confused on your Life Force blast only dealing 600 damage. I run a 4/4/0/0/6 power necro and my Life Blasts hit for 3k easily. What runes/ammulet are you running?

Sorry for the confusion, I meant it does maximum damage at 600 range. Also, I wouldn’t consider AOE corruption on a node “fun stuff”, it’s pretty insane when used wisely. For example, against a bunker guardian trying to support his teamates with boons.
For the runes/ammulet, I’ll provide you the link, it’ll be much more easier for everyone:

Edit: I sometime use Focused Rituals instead of Reapear’s Precision.

It would be crazy if you can swap out utilities to deal with diffrent situations when the come up… oh wait you can.
Siphoning was just a suggestion helps me kill engis easily and add a bit of thankfulness to.me.
As for op just drop spectral armor for grasp, between that well of suffering/corruption you should do good, drop lich for flesh golem to.control in well and.lock with dagger
