Problem has existed for two years… Any problem/game mechanic issue that exists for two years in a game, is unlikely to be changed. Adapt and move on. If you fall in the water you should have something else teed up anyways.
Its not a bug, its because Flesh Golem has no swimming animations. He and Flesh Wurm both used to be able to go in water, where they would basically just… float around, it looked really bad (although hilarious). They obviously didn’t have time to finish it up so they disabled it.
It’s strange, considering that the Flesh Golem basically uses the Charr bodyrig. You’d think they could just use the same swimming animations from them. (It’d look a bit odd seeing a Flesh Golem dog-paddle, I’ll admit.)
