so anyone know why our utilities seem to cast faster under water? blood is power, spec grasp and epidemic normally 3/4s cast are 1/2s, i didn’t check the rest because i dont care about the others so much- so anyone know why?
It’d be great if they were normally this fast…

Its not only that, they actually always hit underwater (unless there is a giant wall between you and the target ofc). My guess is they just put more kittenty versions of the skills as land ones since most underwater weapons are kinda boring thus making a balance.

When life gives you lemon, ask if its from a anime or manga.

Life blast used to be extremly slow underwater till they patched that. Now its a great condition removal since on cast it transfers a condtion from you to the target. But as I enjoy underwater combat as a Power necro I tend to use bone minons for the high crit dmg, spectral armor for the lifeforce boost while underattack, and locust just cause 25% speed is rocking =) and frozen abyss is lol at 11k dmg.

Frozen Abyss – if only we could get that kind of AOE burst damage skill even with its long CD on land. I hit the jellyfish beast in fracts for 18k on crit not sure because of additional might stacks from warriors and/or vulnerability stacks.

In comparison my traited but still longer in duration CD for life transfer for power build is a paltry 4k-5k.

Warriors and Grenadier Engis still own the depths though.

Most underwater weapons could actually be quite fun on land if the skills would be adapted, it would also remove the requirement of adding new weapons.

No terrain to obstruct your skills underwater, the skills should technically function identically.
