Wait… they took away my jagged horrors? (Been building a baby necro, I hadn’t gotten into traits yet) If so, not cool anet. Gimme back my GW1 minion master!
Edit: Not agreeing this ruins the class, but it does sort of suck. I like my minions (just wish they had a tad bit more brain).
Um… Have you bothered reading the patch notes? Or reading the trait descriptions for that matter? Jagged horrors are summoned as a result of the Death Nova trait under Death Magic.
Hang, on wait. I cooled down a bit and checked the patch notes. What they did is they merged Reanimator into a Master Trait called Death Nova. It’s perfectly fine. Crisis averted. It just takes way longer to get it. I can handle that.

Yugh. Jagged horrors. I’m okay with them, but do I have to hear my necro spew off her “Whoops another one died” quote EVERY TIME THEY DIE?
Srsly, they take away my mantras, but leave that nuisance to rattle my ears. It makes minion master irritating to play.
Ah well. MMOs change things around all the time. ANet giveth builds, and ANet take them away. :P

I still say gimme back my GW1 MM though. Along with my hexes. Necros don’t feel like necros in this game. I very much miss the GW1 version.

I’d say give me back a GW1 ranger (where I can perma-stow that god kitten pet), but doesnt mean it’ll happen.
They didn’t take away jagged horrors. They did move it to a GM trait though. You can still run your minion army to your hearts content.

I’m actually quite on board with that too. I enjoyed the option of being a beastmaster or a ‘ranger’ in gw1. Pets → 100% optional.
This entire thread is precisely why people can’t take MMs seriously. Come on guys, you need to know the build better than that :P
