If your gonna go more spectral than wells, I would trait to get more out of them. Additionally I would take spectral armor over walk, the added LF gain is very nice and you don’t need the swiftness if you have traveler runes.
Here is how I would change your build: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fRAQNAW4Yjc0UbbvNG1wejCdhSqdAy1MAisDCBKHjyA-TVSBABBu/wDHBAKV/xMlgXp8LiLAAe6GW4BAAwBBgUARsMC-w
Personally I use the brute force and ignorance build for everything in wvw, the only change I make is swapping A/F for Staff when I want to zerg. People like to rag on Lich form but there is no substitute for being able to pop Lich and end the fight in a hurry. Sure some players on some specs will be able to avoid Lich, but most wont. The dagger imob, stunn double wells combo is a very nice burst plus in 1vX and group fights dropping 2 wells on a downer can win the fight all by its self.

Thx! I may even scrap my offhand dagger for warhorn and drop Traveler runes for Pack or something that gives me perma swiftness

Hello!
I WvW alot, and I can tell you that Power necro for zerg fights is great and fun, I actually have a few different builds I use while WvWing. I have taken the advise of many of the necros on this forum and have 2 build for WvW.
1 build is full zerk everything with Ax Focus/Staff 6/2/0/0/6 with Spite line consists of VI, X, XII. Curses with VI. Soul Reaping with II, VIII, XII. I do not have problems with it since I have pretty much gotten used to positioning during a zerg fight. (Positioning is what will keep you alive in a zerg fight) I run “Consume Conditions” (DUH), “Well of Suffering”, “Well of Corruption”, and “Spectral Armor”. Spectral Armor is my “OH SNAPS” button followed by DS. Elite is plague to give the frontline suport with either blindsd or weakness and cripple, remember thosse soft CC’s means they get run over the hammer train “CHOO CHOO”.
If you are having issues with it throw some Valks. The Valks armor with zerker trinkets is my second armor set if the group/zerg is doing pretty bad. The reason I do this is to increase my vitality, while increasing my deathshoud, so more survivability in and out of DS.
(ENERGY SIGILS OP ON NECROS)
My roaming build I run a Dire/Rabid, but it seems like you like power, according to your original comment.
I do power roam, but I make sure to run Valks with zerker trinkets if I do. I also switch my “Spectral Armor” to “Summon Flesh Wurm” sometimes for a quick escape, and switch my elite from plague to “Flesh Golem” if solo roaming, or “Lich Form” if i have a small group.
That’s just my opinion! The main thing i can say is if you are running with a group always focus on getting good positioning while doing damage, it helps SOOOOOO much.
Thank You! Love all the Necros Out There!!
STAY ON THE DARK SIDE MY FRIENDS.
Hello
For zerging the build mexamese suggested (6-2-0-0-6) is the standard build i also use. Though if you wanna try something abit more frontline while still dishing out decent durps you could try
If you juke in and out of DS well you will have a very high uptime on fury and stability especially with a 6 sec cd DS. Not saying you can be a 100% frontliner with this setup but its fun and you wont get your Life Transfer interrupted anymore
You will loose some dps with no Close to Death trait, but the hit to power is not that severe with Deadly Strenght and im sitting at around 75% crit chance with Furious Demise.
I tend to run this setup when i cant count on 2 guards giving me stab and i feel like yolo bombing something
