Sup necro community,
With power necromancer being my ‘main’ I decided to test what it can do with curses as its 3rd trait line, instead of blood magic. The added boon conversion/condi transfer and PERMA weakness cripples your opponent during the fight and really helps quite a bit. This is definitely a better build for 1v1’s/duels than the triple well blood magic build.

In this video I’m facing different classes (and especially a lotta mesmers) in the abrakadabra 1v1 server in EU. Showing wins and losses I show how well this build works and how I change my tactics vs. different builds/classes. (LOTS OF POWERBLOCK MESMERS IN THIS VIDEO :p)

I’m also gonna test death magic power necro, but that will take another while

Have any of you guys tested curses power necro? What do you think is the best 3rd line for power necro? curses, DM and BM all work quite well. Please lemme know

Good video, and good tips against Mesmers. Curses definitely excel in 1v1. I’ve tried it and found Curses to be good in 1v1 but really lacking in large scale combat. Since I’m mostly in GvG or ZvZ situations, I find Blood Magic the better choice. But I may have to load up Curses sometime for some Mesmer hunting.

A bit of a shame that you didn´t have any footage vs. Warriors.

Watching how you handled those Mesmers made up for it though. Made me realize that I panic-dodge way too much against them (probably because my brain goes on insta-TILT once I see the purple butterflies lol).

prefer curses as 3rd line.
Atm im testing focus instead of wh, with spiteful talisman and spiteful spirit.
strenght runes to make up abit for the lose of close to death.
I am suprised by spiteful spirit actually, focus #4 >DS now even better and the retal, cripple is much better then i though it would be

Thanks I have yet to try spiteful spirit, but that 15 sec CD really bothers me :/
I used to luv focus, but after meeting with my beautiful glyphic warhorn I can’t give it up :p

Thanks, saw your build too. Looks interesting but I believe that with 3 wells blood magic would help you more
