Hi everyone. Name’s Chris; I usually play a Guardian, but I’m starting to dabble with the less lighty (not a word) Necromancer. At first it’ll just be sPvP videos. As I level I may toss out some random PvE videos, but my “end-game” per se is WvW. I hope to put out some decent anti-zerg and 1vX Necro videos in that department soon enough.
I’ll try to keep the OP updated with my latest Necro videos as they’re released (though it’ll be a bit between videos). Please enjoy. :>

Critiques welcome; I’ve got the whole of 16 hours logged on my Necromancer and virtually no serious PvP experience with any character. If you’re into Guardian gameplay, there’s tons of that on my channel. Some other professions are down the road as well.

i also like using scepter/dagger and a staff but the problem is condions dont deal enough damage, are too easy to cleanse especially in group fights, there are alot of professions that have the ability to AOE remove conditions passively or on short cooldowns , youre not going to do alot.
sure bleeds look good on paper but i suggest you try either a well-health-siphoning build or a power/well build those work better in my experience.
but at the mo, necros are basically the weakest class due to broken traits, nobody can use minions, healing power does not scale with siphoning etc im no pro necro but i do suggest u wait what the patch brings , if nothing interesting for necro go back to guardian because theyree OP
Ok heres some things you can work on:
1.) don’t use staff 4 and 5 at the beginning of the fight, they are to valuable for that and you might find yourself needing them later
2.) practice hitting with groundtarget skills, in the 1. video you missed with grasping dead a couple of times
3.) use fear in deathshroud to interrupt heals
4.) move while using groundtarget skills

Necros are realy ok right now, the only problem they have is that they don’t have swiftness in viable builds and are therefore quite slow moving. Yea condition remove is quite strong atm, too, but for example against eles you just have to get your timing for applying pressure right and you can kill them(the key point is when they leave water)
Thanks for the tips Blackmoa. :> You aren’t the first to suggest using DS fear to interrupt heals, and you’re right that I need to work on my ground targeting, etc.

Chris, I’ve seen you fight in WvW enough to know you’re one of the best Guardian players out there, you definitely know how to play to your strengths. I’d be very interested seeing how you succeed with the Necromancer!
