I am heavily considering a viper/sinister with nightmare runes build because while I love my power reaper, I want to try something different. The viper armor is an easy sell, the sinister trinkets, however, are not. 1000 bandit crests + 10g + living story PER trinket? That just seems absurd. Are sinister trinkets even worth it?

Exotic Vipers trinkets are just as good.

the exotic viper trinkets actually are not as good if you run nightmare/trapper runes. Which is by far the better way to go as you get more damage. Sinister trinkets are the way to go and imo worth it, the amulet and 2 verata’s rings don’t take long to get ( since you can wear 2 of one ring now if one is attuned) then the ear rings you can do in a day or two, it’s really not bad. Though I’d get mordrem loop over the sinister amulet

First: Lingering curse does NOT count towards the condition cap because it increases the base duration

I’m using this viper/sinister build for raids and without the food for normal PvE and it works really well and wasn’t hard to get (except the amulet)

with food the important conditions (bleed, poison, chill) are a the cap, so any more condition duration on the equip would be wasted
