anyone have any ideas for me for a wvw nec. been using cond build but after patch i was wondering what was working well

I personally use Nemesis’ ‘Fear is my Weapon’ build from before the patch, but I’ve found it to still be extremely useful (Swapping in Spectral Wall in place of, say, Corrupt boon but it’s up to you). That’s 0/30/20/0/20. I run with Well of Darkness to compound with Chilling Darkness to drop that + Plague during Open Field battles to really shut down a large fraction of a group, in addition to Well of Corruption, I feel like I really make a different. Adding in Marks and AoE’s from Scepter, I can’t really -say-, but I please myself and hopefully my teammates by feeling like I help us pull through on largescale battles with widespread blinds/cripples/chills.
Oh, and fears, of course. 8^y

PVT gear+traits for spectrals+spectral walk+spectral armor+spectral wall. Use spectral walk/armor before rushing into zerg. Enjoy being unable to die.

Bonus points for getting behind them and fearing them back to allies with spectral wall when they flee.

For my necro I use focus/dagger and staff with traits directed at wells and marks (30/30/10/0/0 traiting) While rotating power is wells and instant conditions/buffs like blood is power with the flesh golem as elite and speed signet for that zerg keep up and map running if getting to zerg. Pretty much build I used is based around back to front line condition and damage with enough skills to toss up at the walls of towers and keeps.

30/30/10 condition build or 0/30/10/0/30 condition builds are both popular, and usually both take terror in curses.

I can’t wait to try out 30/10/0/0/30 as a power build with axe and dagger and mostly berserker and Valkyrie gear.

Depending on how you play minion builds can be effective in small scale fighting. Also interested in how a juggermancer works now with the recent buffs.

I love this build and the patch has really made it stand out.

Close to Death & Axe Training… wow.. today in WvW i hit someone with Life Blast for 7.5K (I had warrior/guardian banners/buffs) – that’s more than my Lich form hits for.

Life Blast is the key weapon in this build…. just chew through the enemies. Dark Path is also great at 1200 range now….

Too bad we will probably be nerfed… people complaining in the PvP forums… my Mesmer also chews through enemies and escapes with no effort – apprently that’s ok, but we can’t have a Necro doing high DPS.

I’ve been playing around with this but can’t do much active testing because I’m still lvl’ing my necro.

I’m curious what runes and sigils your finding to be effective?

Of course not, because then all those mesmer’s would have to re-roll and level a new profession.
