Wanted: Trait tree adjustments
Id like to second getting rid of reanimator. I hate this trait so much that I wouldn’t even care if they just deleted it and didn’t put anything in its place. I want it gone.
Don’t put master of terror inside curses, imo. That would stack that tree too much.
Make greater marks the minor adept trait of the 3rd line, and remove Reanimator from the game. Add a trait that helps scepter users generate life force.
Make all blood magic life-leeching skills scale with healing power
Vital persistence: make it reduce DS degeneration by 75% (up from 25%)
ye, reanimator trait is so usells. would be great if they chage it.
1. Reanimator should be replaced by a trait.
2. Siphon traits (or at least the bloodthirst trait is applied) should get a fixed percentage added to their base heal from healing power.
3. Vampiric rituals should affect the group not only the caster as does Transfusion.
I outline these in this thread.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Necromancer-group-support-build-suggestions/ If you wish to check it out.
Reanimator should be moved to a major trait so it’s optional and reworked to be more viable and in it’s place, dark armor or shrouded removal (since death magic is the only line with no passive DS based trait I think shrouded removal would make much more sense).
Remove Full of Life from blood line or move it to a major trait with a 10 second duration instead of 5 and in it’s place put in vampiric. Not sure what to replace vampiric’s orignial spot with maybe just swap the two, but I have yet to see any benefit from full of life, especially after running builds without it, I sure didn’t miss it at all. All vampiric traits should either be adjusted to scale with healing power of a small percentage, or values raised.
For soul reaping line, gluttony should be swapped with vital persistence.
~Surrender fiend and you will get an easy death
~I could promise you the same…but it would be a lie…
I wish Death Magic was not so crammed with useful trait skills. Staff, minion, and DS all benefit from that line. Spectral Mastery belongs there but there is no more room for it. Necromancer has a lot of weapons to trait so I wonder if two of the same funtionfunction weapons cannot have their have their mastery trait combined to make room. I would think staff belongs in Curses.
Death and blood magic should have Spectral buffs because spectral is a bunkering / combat mobility set of skills.
