So I know our Blood line is complete poo, but I go into it every now and again just for fun. I used some of the traits for a PvP match to just play around, and I decided to use the “Transfusion” skill. I was using as much life siphons as I could in the hopes to be of some help to my teammates, but then I notice that I wasn’t see any green ticks above their heads. At first I thought it was a bug, but then I read the trait more closely and realized that it only heals allies when using “Life Transfer.”

Was this how the trait always worked? Or was there actually a time where it shared Life Siphon and not Life Transfer?

I haven’t went into this trait line in so long that I wouldn’t be surprised if it was always this way or if it was changed.

I’m just really hoping they fix up this trait line for us, cause its just no use to us. Also our minions…..I love their life siphon ability, but it’s of no use to us when they can’t even attack our targets

It’s always been only Life Transfer. It’s also a very strong trait, capable of healing allies for a very high amount.

The skill’s always been a modification of Life Transfer, not a general change to siphons. It’s still a pretty good AoE heal, even if you don’t invest in Healing Power.

Mixing insults with your post is like pooping in a salad.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

It’s the only thing in that line that has any “support” attatched.

Lol I stand corrected. After finally getting it to work, I’m realizing that I’m healing my allies way more on a single Life Transfer that I would have ever hoped for with just Life Siphon(s). Shame we heal allies more with this one abilities than we can with all our Life Siphons put together.

Yeah, Transfusion is actually a really nice allied heal, and it is on a skill that you tend to like to cast anyway.

Like others have said it’s a really nice heal with a 600 radius for 2-5K health, depending on healing power. The best part is that it pulses 9 times over 3 seconds and only heals allied targets with missing health, switching targeted players once their health is 100%. Very seldom do you ever “waste” a Transfusion heal in a group of allies while in combat. So it’s one, if not the most, efficient group heals in the game.

Also worth noting that with some of the changes we are getting, we will be seeing much higher healing power if you invest, as you get a free 300 from Blood Magic under 75% HP, and there should be more to gain from gear as well. Not 100% sure, but I am guessing Cleric builds will see at least 1600 healing power when under 75%, and we actually have some of the better healing ratios with the upcoming changes.
