When playing my necro prior to the update, I would cast well of power and get five pulses of one second stability, now I get one pulse of one second stability on casting. Am I imagining things or did Well of Power get changed?

Been playing necromancer since last December and I never remember it giving stability per pulse….would be awesome though.

A knight in shining armor is a man who never had his metal truly tested.

Patch notes from June 25th, 2013:

Well of Power: This ability now breaks stuns. Added 1 second of stability. Reduced the cooldown to 50 seconds.

The skill hasn’t changed since then.

The initial stability is only there to ensure that that the stunbreak/spell goes off since unlike most other stunbreaks well of power is not instant.

Infact you can use it to block hard ccs if timed correctly. For example it can be used to interrupt cc chains from hammer warriors.

However due its cast time the well can only be used if you are not in the air (after a launch pull, knockback etc.), which makes the stunbreak kinda inferior to the instant ones…
I hope at some point they will fix that.
