well of blood had a good amount of healing when it still was 10 seconds long. it had an extreme coefficent and was healing close to consume conditions. after the nerf to 5 seconds they didnt buff the healing for time enough. they thought buffing it x1.5 would make the heal +-0 but as everybody who thinks about that a little realizes that is a nerf. they should have buffed it by x2.
back to ur suggestion: its like troll urgent for the team, a nice idea. troll urgent heals for 850 over 10 seconds for a total amount of 8500 healing without healing power.

i would try it but it needs a cd reduction for me to make it my goto heal. it shares its cooldown with the longest cooldown healing skills. guardian needs the same help btw
It wasn’t that they didn’t buff the healing over time, it was that they didn’t adjust the ratio on the healing over time. The base now is the same as the old base or close enough, but they removed 5 pulses of the old healing power ratios, which massively hurt the skill. An 83% buff to the current pulse ratios will even it out.

With a 1.0 coefficient for all ticks you would have a solid 11300 healing with 932 Healing Power. If you go all out and stack 1547 Healing Power with Cleric ammie and Monk runes you could reach 15 812 healing from WoB. And it would be party wide if they stand in it. That’s pretty strong and I feel the cooldown would be warranted.

if u say it like that yeah would be good in full full cleric with monks (for healing increase on allies not u). but atm well of bloods coefficent is 0.4 per tick and even with your changes it is still not giving me a good heal for general gameplay

The proposed change wasn’t meant as much of a buff to the self healing fact of the skill. Prior to the last change to WoB you could reach about 14k healed with Well of Blood in Clerics. It still wasn’t used over Consume Conds. But with all the healing moved to the pulses you have a multi target heal that might just be good enough to consider over Consume Conds. And I’m thinking from a PvP-centric point of view. PvE and general gameplay doesn’t matter as far as healing skills are concerned since you can slot terrible heals like Healing Seed or Signet of Vampirism and do just fine in if you so desire.
yes exactly. doesnt matter how much u buff well of bloods healing it needs atleast a lower cooldown or some other kind of utility linked to it. and sry to say it like this but saying u dont need a good heal for fractals saying u dont need a good heal for triple trouble worm saying u dont need a good heal for wvw is just stupid

I do level 50 fractals on my Necro. I barely ever have to use my heal when I do it. I could slot a kittenty heal like Vamp Sig and it wouldn’t make any difference at all.
I have not logged on since the announced changes as the CC nerf really set me off. We have no other options as a condi mancer, and will be forced to use this now kitten heal. I just keep looking at the positive changes for the top tier classes couped with the power creep and I can’t for the life of me see how we will compete anymore. Thieves, Engies, memsers, eles, and guardians are going to walk all over us, and the ranger is going to hit even harder. It’s like they buffed what was already strong and left us in the dust. Every other classes dmg output went up, while our defense did not get any stronger.

Technically not true. We got +15% Death Shroud and Siphons healing through DS. It just isn’t enough to balance out the damage increase other classes will see.
They just merged the 3 traits that benefit Well of Blood while also making the trait line way better. You should wait till the changes before you start saying this skill needs a buff.
Another benefit I think people overlook is that you won’t be forced to get a bunch of vitality with Blood Magic. It’s really not a high priority stat for necros (if you wanna argue that shroud scales your vitality up, it actually scales your toughness just as well as your vitality) so that made the trait line weaker compared to the others simply because they had better stats.

i think a cd reduction with also a healing buff would be a good start to improving well of blood.
at the moment the engineer elixer gun’s super elixer is better
