C’mon now, this skill needs to be stabo per pulse kitten . Not one initial second, one per pulse! while we take the risk of sitting int it, give it to us as the potential stomp. what stabo we have? elite? 3 whole sec in ds if traited? us necro are too weak in sustain to match the dmg we can do. not even close to balanced against warrior n guards

It only has stability because its a stun break with a cast time.

Another funny thing about it is that it takes a moment for it to be able to be used after cc and even when you do try to pop it to break stun, it can still be interrupted by normal cc despite the stability. I ran a wells build for a while and this has never seemed like a useful stun break….at least not as a stun breaker.

First thing I would do is just flat out remove the stability and make it instant cast.

You wouldn’t want a well with stability pulses? I don’t run wells often, but even I think that would be ok. I mean, when was the last time you died to a wellomancer when you were playing halfway smart?

I sometimes actually time that 1 sec of stability to avoid being stunned in the first place, so I’m not sure removing it would be an improvement.

That’s a completely separate issue. 6 seconds of stability is a lot of power to give a skill. The Guardian skill that gives 5s of retal/stability plus a stun break has a full 30s CD on its own. That is a big buff to give a skill, especially one that removes up to 30 conditions and grants up to 30 boons.

Well of Power isn’t at all weak, the builds that would take it over something else are, for reasons completely unrelated to WoP.

Removing it to make it instant cast. Currently you cannot cast the skill if you are unable to cast a skill, which means a number of situations make the skill useless as a stun break.

As long as a change will bring well of power in line with the other stun breaks (useable while in the air though pulls/launchs etc. and with that able to instantly stun break), i would be fine ether way…

It should have a stability per pulse really. It might have very strong potential with the condi → boon part, however this is purely based on the situation.

Every skill should have a reliable use for EVERY situation, a skill that just feels useless on the bar unless used in the perfect situation is bad.

I would compare this to “Save Yourselves!” from the guards, even if its used with no allies around, you get a benefit. The skill really shines when taking condis from allies, but it does not feel useless at any point because you get an ensured benefit from using it.

WoP is s group support utility so I can understand the delay but I do wish it would flip all conditions immediately.
