Wells and TPvP?
30 Points Soul Reaping for 50% crit on DS. Dagger/Bone Fiend to Immobile them. Drop Well of Suffering, flip to staff & put up DS.
So awesome till you realize, other class’s don’t have the problems with CC that we do and will usually just wander off.
My suggestion: never use offensive wells without CC. Ever. You need at least dagger main-hand to even consider running wells, otherwise you’re basically saying “I take wells for downed pressure” which generally isn’t enough in your team unless you have massive spike damage from other sources, and then you run and pop down three wells and go “TROLOLOLOL TRY TO RES HIM NAO”.
What is your goal with this build? I feel like its doing too much at once, and none of it well (hue).

The goal was simply point denial (thought that was pretty obvious). After having tried for a couple of days I realize, that it is a nice build … but the dynamic spammy way pressure is applied from distance makes it rather obsolete. People don’t really need to stay in the wells for capping at all, and the pressure is just off too fast. I probably should have realized it earlier, since I don’t have so high thoughts of Chaos Storm to either, for much the same reason … .
The reason I started the build was to counter pressure from several melee at once on a point, and that it does do fairly well, if people are silly enough to really stay inside the wells. It is just too situational to really work as a concept; at least as it works right now. Another reason is, that I feel the 30/20/0/0/20 is boring, even if it is very effective.
The point abt the CC makes sense, I just wish, that the most common encounters didn’t have so many CC-clears.

Wrong it is perfectly viable to run scepeter dagger and staff with wells. I do it very successfully playing with Good Fights and other top PvP teams. You have plenty of hard cc to keep people in wells. DS 2 > DS 3 > Staff 5 = you’re not moving out of wells. Do it on someone who’s low and it’s an assured death.
Regarding OP’s build…its not ideal for wells and I guess if you wanted to be tanky it may work. Currently I run 30/20/0/0/20; or 30/10/0/0/30.
