Looking for some Sigil options for Axe and Focus weapon combo. Off the top of my head I can only think of Bloodlust/Force? What else is there?

I normally run Accuracy/force but that’s because I need the 5% crit. Bloodlust on my staff to rack up them stacks faster then switch it out for battle.

It depends on what you are doing. Personally I use Hobbling/Leeching or Bloodlust/Leeching (depends on if I have another set with 2 weapons or not), but I run MM, so the Hobbling doesn’t just increase Axe 3, but also makes Flesh Golem’s and Bone Fiend’s cripples.

Chance to stack vulnerability on axe, bloodlust on focus. That combo will allow you to keep up on average 18 stacks of vulnerability, I’ve hit 25 stacks on multiple occasions as well.

The way I see it, why not take advantage of vulnerability stacking when axe auto attack stacks it, and so does focus. A constant 18-25% incomming damage is a big deal.

Gonna echo Bhawb here by saying it really depends on what you’re doing. PvP? PvE? WvW? And you running a leeching build? GC build? Vuln-stacking debuffer? MMaster? There’s your standards that work with any and all weapons (Force, Accuracy, Bloodlust), and then there’s those that work with specific builds/goals.

I’ve run the following:

Minion Master: Peril/Frailty (or Leeching)
GC: Force/Strength and/or Force/Leeching
DS Spectrals: Accuracy/Perception
Debuff: Peril/Peril

I will only use Axe for PvE, mainly because I don’t like the range for WvW, and vulnerability is more of a benefit to PvE as well.

I’m definitely getting Force, but for my secondary I’m still up in the air. The Frailty suggestions do make sense though…

What are you using axe for in PvE then? Are you a berzerker build (and so should max damage output with 2) or a beefier build (and get vuln duration).

I run full berserker MM… so blood and bloodlust for me lol.
