As the title says, what exactly doest bloodthirst affect? (blood magic II)

Inherrent lifestealing from the necromancer class, I am assuming it affects.
But what about the non-necro specific items?

Sigil of blood?
Sigil of leeching?
Rune of vampirism?
Omnomberry pie?

I’m trying out a bunkerish build, and am wondering if I should go for heal on crit or 50% increase in lifesteal. I use sigil of blood, and if the 50% does in fact affect it, then this would probably be preferable to steal on crit (and would even persuade me to use omnomberry pie instead of mango pie).

Anyone know?

I tested Sigil of Blood and Bloodthirst a long time ago (months after release) and it sadly wasnt affected.
Still use it tho; its the last remnant of my attempt to build a lifesteal-focussed nec in the beginning.
Dont know if that has changed since then, but i doubt it.

It doesn’t alter profession-generic abilities like upgrade components and nourishment buffs.

So you can get a bonus from life siphon (dagger 2), life leech (downed 1), vampiric, vampiric precision, vampiric rituals, vampiric master. But nothing from runes of vampirism or the others you listed.

Edit: Drarnor below me is correct, Signet of the Locust is boosted by bloodthirst. (Possibly more than a 50% boost too, it doesn’t seem to scale properly, but it’s a bug in our favour for now)

Deathly Swarm (Spear 3) isn’t boosted in the heart of the mists (And probably not in PvE either), but it should be based on Dagger 2, and I am adding it to the bug list right now.

Mixing insults with your post is like pooping in a salad.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

It affects Well Siphons (always has iirc) and Pet Siphons (used to be bugged) but that’s the extent of my testing. Back around launch it was bugged and when it did work it didn’t grant the actual 50% increase like it states, but now it seems to be working for the most part. I still think it needs fixing however.

Pets siphon 79 per hit base with 844 healing power. With the trait they siphon 114 per hit. It SHOULD be 118-119 per hit so it isn’t exactly 50% but it’s close enough to not really matter.

Vampiric – 38 Health per hit @ lvl 80 (direct dam only not conditions)
Vampiric Precision – 51 per crit
Vampiric Master – 114 per pet attack

Might beef up Dagger’s #2.

NOT affected by heal power.

Let me note: 6 Signet of Restoration for Ele (no trait cost) is 202 per hit, affected by heal power.
