I’m interested in going Necro again after a month away and about 2 months of doing Engi before that… Is there anything new that has happened to Necro since/anything I should know or expect from Necro from previously playing Engi?

Thanks!

EDIT: Holy crap, so much negativity on the necro… Would going Necro be recommended to a person who plays mainly Dungeons/fractals, WvW, PvE and rare PvP?

Dagger builds got a bit of a buff, and we can now interact in death shroud. Those are the big changes with necromancer.

The real changes are what happened around the necromancer – warriors and thieves took some nerfs and no longer are as big of a counter to us. Boon heavy classes seem to be the dominant classes in the meta, and we have ways to hurt them. Overall I think the balance team did a great job with this patch, as much as I raged about our lack of buffs at the time. In context, it was a good patch.

I must admit, I noticed dominance in my Might Stacking FT Engi in Wvw.
Thank you very much for that!
