Yeah actually the amount of power it would give the party from a full knight’s necro would be impressive.
Sadly if it was an aura it would get a huge % nerf. I think it’s perfect as it is.

Not at all. To get it to higher values you have to invest in toughness, lowering your own damage output.
A full Knight build has around half the damage output of a full zerker. Now assuming that the other 4 members are full zerk they’d each gain about 250 power which would translate to around 10% more damage, or double that while the necro is in shroud. That sounds insane, but keep in mind it’s making up for the necro himself giving up damage in order to make the aura stronger.
So if the necro gives everyone else 20% more damage while he’s in shroud, but he himself only does half their damage, the result is 60% (assuming the necro gets about 10% from the power due to the lower multipliers on his gear) + 120% * 4 = 540% compared to 500% if the whole team was zerk with a standard necro.
So I’m thinking that the full knight’s necro in shroud would result in a 40% net increase in party damage. Edit: I shouldn’t say it that way. It would be 40% relative to the damage of one zerker, but only 40/500 = 8% relative to the damage of a 5 zerker team.
While the necro is not in shroud we’d be looking at 55% + 110%*4 = 495%, which means we’re looking at an overall loss of around 5%. But this is all very approximate so it’s basically the same as having 5 zerkers.
However, it does get more complicated if you optimize the necro’s gear a little. Zerk weapons + a little zerk mixed into the gear would bring the necro’s own damage up a lot without giving up much toughness.
Anyway I think it looks fine if there is only a significant benefit to the team while in shroud, and the necro lacks other utility, and the aura would not stack with other necros so you wouldn’t just have 5 of them, besides you need 4 zerkers to really take advantage of it.
