Any idea what build this is?
It looks super fun to play and is a power based build.

Im not sure but i think he uses chill of death (X in spite) and soul marks (X in soul reaping). I dont know what he uses as adept in SR line, but he definitey doesnt use Unyielding Blast or Fear of Death.

He doesnt seem to use an on-crit sigil, unless i missed it. Perhaps he uses force and accuracy, but its just a guess.

That is a pre-patch Power Build running what looks like Knights Ammy w/ Zerker Jewel.

I didn’t watch for fine details, but traits are probably close to:

30/15/10/0/15

If you like that playstyle, then you can still run it, but you would get better damage out of a Deathly Perception based build with higher +Crit Damage and a more offensive amulet like Valkyrie or straight Zerker.

Oh and he definitely has Sigils of Battle.

At lest 25 in spite because he gain might each time he is hit while below 25% health point.
10 point in death magic for greater mark
Stability on DS mean 30 point in soul reaping.
What i’m not sure is between blood magic and curse because he gain regen a few time and i’m not sure he have bleed on crit.

I think he use death embrace, pitefull spirit and close to death in Spite.
Greater mark is a must so 10 wasted point in Death magic
Soul reaping… feel like speed of shadow, Soul mark and foot in the grave.

He probably wear a knight or zerker gear.

He doesnt get fury on DS, but he gets stability and retaliation and he also has greater marks. That makes it certain that he has 10-X-10-X-30 and less than 15 in curses. On a second view i also noticed Siphoned power proc (25 in spite) therefore he must be useing a 30-0-10-0-30 build

I also think i noticed chill of death procing a few times but it might have been something else.
Knights amulter and berserker jewel can give the exact amount of HP he has so that must be what he uses.
Speed of shadow was only 15% before patch and i doubt he used, but its just an assumption. I think he used Vital Persistance or Path of Midnight, but this too is just an assumption.

If he is getting Stability on shroud and no Fury on shroud, then that is it.

The ammy combo is definitely Knights + a Power Jewel that is most likely Zerker. Thats how you get to 26,802
His crits in that initial Lich form definitely indicate a high Crit damage allocation and Close to Death.
Sigils of Battle are obvious. 3 stacks every time he swaps.

At anyrate this is definitely pre-patch as shroud 5 is absent.

What would you suggest for someone fairly new to necromancers?

If you are new to Necromancer and want to try your hand at a Power based build try this:

30/0/10/0/30

Reaper’s Might, Chill of Death. Close to Death
Greater Marks
Unyielding Blast, Soul Marks, Deathly Perception

Dagger/Dagger, Staff
Force/Energy, Energy

Valkyrie Amulet

Consume Conditions, Well of Corruption, Well of Suffering, Flesh Wurm (or S Walk), Lich Form

You give up some nice stuff (in the form of damage and utility) to be a little bit more sustainable from the toughness on Valk, the LF gen from marks and the extra cleanse and Weakness on Dagger OH, but you still pack enough punch to make kills.

You aren’t very mobile, so you need to position smartly. When you want to burst land a Dagger 3, drop Well of Suffering, DS #3, DS #1 til dead.

Alternatively if Lich is up you can replace the DS with Lich Form and burn it down.

The whole thing is predicated upon having massive crit damage and power investment and counting on Deathly Perceptions 50% Crit. You could go with some precision runes to help boost the damage when out of shroud, but the runes on this build are kind of season to taste.
