What's your build...
For my necro my traits are 30/30/0/0/10. For spite I go iv x xii. Curses i go ii xii xi and soul reaping i use iii.
My weapons are Scepter/dagger and Axe/warhorn. I use runes of the lich in my armor so i can actually live long enough to not get blown up in 2hits but still do good condition dmg.
My utility skills are signet of spite corrupt boon and epidemic and my elite skill changes depending on the situation. I typically run flesh golem since the charge + warhorn 4 skil and DS fear is good for locking people down when trying to complete on a kill. i pick up lich form if i kno im going into a big fight vs alot of ranged and plague if im going into a fight vs alot of meleee
Interesting. I love the warhorn skills. Thanks.
Are there any Minion builds out there?
20.iv.v/30.iii.ix.xi/0/20.i.viii/0
Scepter of Superior Agony/Dagger of Superior Debility+Staff of Superior Geomancy
Consume Conditions/Well of Corruption/Well of Darkness/Plague Signet/Lich Form
Still playing around with various builds, but aiming to hybrid condition/support as I only play with my team. Would never use this in pugs. It’s still pretty good at 1v1’ing, just takes a bit longer. Can usually beat most class’, but most difficulty with Warr and Thief, and at that, the main point of the build is to turn the tide of team fights via support rather than damage. If there’s a potential kill target, blow your signet if you’ve enough conditions to secure it, otherwise save it and prioritise Consume Conditions if you’re under pressure. Well use is obviously situational, you just need to keep an eye out for buff CDs to use Well of Corruption and try bait them to stack for Well of Darkness.

I am Staff for marks.
Daggers x2 for grinding.
Usually I lay down marks around or on tooop of me, thne switch to daggers an pull them all to me.
30.30.10
“Spite”
Deaths Embrace
Training of the Master
Close to Death
“Curses”
Weakening Shroud
Hemophilia
Master of Corruption
“Death”
Minion Master
Now obviously you can chop an change these to suit, but this is for grinding in pve NOT pvp.
Does a huge amount of AOE damage.
by the way, I use “Taste of death” minion always. As well as, Well of Suffering, Well of Corruption, Corrosive Poison cloud, OR Blood is Power . It’s kind of up to you on that one.
I also am geared in 100% Crafted gear, with a mix of condition an power/precision evenly.
When i first made my necro i tried MM and it wasnt too bad on legend of the foe fire and battle of kyhlo. Since minions dontkittenas much on those two maps. The build i used was 20/0/30/0/20. This build gave me more dps but I had 0 sustain and no real way of finishing enemies off in 1v1 situations unless the flesh golem knock down was up and i had a few stacks of bleed on them. This build is really only good for all out offense (capturing points, taking svanir/chieftan, attacking enemy lord, ect.)
You could also go 0/0/30/20/20 which is a much tankier build and is much better if you are looking to defend points instead of capturing them.
Lately I’ve been running 10/30/30/0/0. Much to my own astonishment, this build seems to be working well. Not only for sPvP but tournament play as well. Here’s the build:
So either one of those major talents has made the difference and I’m just not smart enough to analyze and deduce why, or I’m just getting better in general at the profession. Most likely it’s the toughness. I’m able to outlast my opponent while I bleed them to death. Even thieves. Yes, I realize marks are still blockable, doesn’t matter… I’m interested in the increased area. When they fix the block thing, it will only sweeten the deal. I don’t really use my elites much at all either. I just don’t think they’re powerful enough. The only reason I’d use them is to give myself stability if I know I’m about to face off against a hundred blades warrior. After he burns everything, I’m most likely to exit the form myself and kill him… it’s much faster. If stability persisted after leaving the form, then I’d just double-tap my elite skills.
When I first tried this build, I really thought I’d be missing Reaper’s Protection and I’d be hosing myself. But the past few days have shown that I don’t really miss it. I haven’t noticed its’ absence as much as I thought I would have.

I’m rolling with a “Blood Minion Build.”
Spite 20 (I – IX)
Death 25 (III – X)
Blood 25 (II – VII)
Dagger/Focus & Staff.
Blood Fiend – Shadow Fiend – Bone Fiend – Flesh Wurm – Flesh Golem
Something like this:

It’s a fun build, does great damage when minions actually attack (send them in first to better your chances). I switched to this because I was bored with the conditionmancer build (which I leveled to 80 with). I just wanted a change and this one seems to do the trick.

Nice. Thanks everyone.
http://tinyurl.com/Conditionmancer (might wanna push Corrupt to slot 2 and replace BiP for CPC for aoe weakness in dungeons or if you dont use DS for more than plain burst absorb)
I play necromancer for Anima Machina, build is in the video info.
This is for WvWvW only.
Sceptor/dagger + staff
I use wells and epidemic.
