Serious necro come from UW academic and we only listen rock in our class room. If you wanna listen rap you maybe suit more for “thief”.

haven’t seen many good Necro videos period… so lets turn this into a necro video thread.

I see some excuses is dark/evil; to which the obvious answer was metal (though that has a limited fanbase as well), not rap.

rap isn’t those things, rap became only 5% of the average listener in music genre, rap was suppose to be about story telling in written words but its trailed off in repeated verses and a mess of swearing.

Were they all power build deathshroud spam builds? Because most of the good Necro videos I’ve seen are always that.

While i do not like rap music i have to say that each person has it’s own personal preference and can use what ever they want in their videos.

I personally would so want to use music from the “epic” genre in my videos, but i am legally not allowed to do so, if i try… they will take my youtube away…

I have dozens of songs that would make the blood rush to your head…

Some of my videos have rap in them. In most I just use the beat not the lyrics. I hope there enjoyable tho other then the music if its not ur taste.

I personally always use movie soundtracks for my machinemas, because they are easier to listen to (unless it is that annoying overused Requiem for a Dream music that everyone and their mother slaps on their videos ).

Movie themes just blend easier with game-footage, and are less distracting. There is of course the issue with copyright laws, but you can fight any copyright claims on the basis of fair use. Those record companies legally have no leg to stand on if you make a none-profit movie based on GW2 footage.

That is the problem though, a lot of people who make youtube videos do so for the monetization, meaning it isn’t non profit.

nothing, other than necromancers are beings of darkness or whatever. therefore, it’s metal or bust for a necro video. personally, i don’t want to hear a lil wayne song while a necromancer is owning in wvw.
