So for the past week I have been using the flesh golem and it never does anything. It just sits there by my side no matter what I do. It never attacks even after I use his charge ability, he just stands there. I was wondering if a dev could explain why this is and if this is working correctly. Maybe change the tooltip:

“Golem will not attack, only used for charge.”

Nothing like this is in a tooltip so I was wondering what is the point of the golem if it never does anything. I look at other classes and their elite skills seem to work. Why does the necros not?

Bugged as… err, I mean, working as intended…

And don’t worry. If you concern is about how OP your golem is, you can rest assure nerfs are coming, so your completely useless/harmless pile of flesh will not be a problem for those poor and helpless mesmers.

But now seriously, is bugged and is likely to remain like that. And if they fix it, it will be bugged again in 3 days or less -_-

Why fix the Necromancer for free when we can charge $$$ for the Revenant

My Flesh Golem sulks more than my 4 year old nephew.

I really don’t understand why Flesh Golems seem to be so much buggier than other minions.

I’ve seen him activate most of the time when you use a ‘channel skill’ like axe 2 or dagger 2 , especially dagger 2!

My necromancer got upgraded to a scythe-wielding maniac.. I like it.

The minions haven’t been acting mopey for me lately, although I’ve previously observed what the OP describes.

One way to go about working around it is to wait for your minion to catch up to you before attacking anything, or try to goad enemies into your minions. They usually start hitting things if they wander into melee range, and then start chasing them. The ranged minions don’t seem as problematic in this regard.
