Which build for pre-80 WvW?
Hi all,
I’m relatively new to the game and in the process of leveling up. Currently I’m at 33. The thing is, I’m bored of questing Hearts and find WvW leveling to be more enjoyable, though it’s slower.
My question is what build would be most effective that allows me to survive in zergs while doing AoE damage as well? I’m down to 2 choices:
Juggermancer: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Juggermancer-Final-Blog-Link
or
Wellomancer: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Ascii-s-WvW-Wellomancer-BuildTo start with, I don’t even know what significant changes in both builds are! Which would you recommend and how should I utilize the above builds?
Wells are good for pre 80. You will essentially be a support well bomber. Your dps and survival won’t even come close to actual 80s but in a full zerg battle your wells can do some decent damage and tag enough people for a lot of loot and exp and if you are careful enough people usually won’t focus you.
Agreed, grab Focussed Rituals and chuck your Wells and Marks into the enemy blob from the back of your own group. At lvl 33 if you get close enough for them to sneeze at you you’re dead so stick with a zerg and stay near the back. You’ll find the levelling speed isn’t that bad though, getting keeps and towers gets you lots of XP and a big group goes through them pretty quick
Yeah, stay in the back and use wells and marks to tag opponents. Do not try roaming without a supporting group. Trait for targetable wells, well CD reduction, and mark CD reduction.
Training for plague and targeted wells with well of corruption and well of darkness could add a lot of support and utility to your group. Spectral wall might also be good for the protection, or suffering for tagging people. But the blinds and boon strips are valuable.
Staff/axe might get you the most tags, with the wells, plague, and smart death shroud use.
