I run a power build and use dagger/whorn+staff (mainly wvwvw) but following the recent changes would I be better ditching the whorn for the focus?

I’d honestly say that either one is suitable for a dagger, so the question becomes: what utility do you need most? Would you rather have an AoE interrupt (warhorn) or another source of regeneration (focus)? Boon removal (focus) or swiftness (warhorn)? I’d choose so that you fill the gaps in the rest of your build, especially in terms of utility skills.

Pay attention to what you find yourself aching for in a fight: are boons ruining your day? Or do you just want a daze on the same weapon bar as your dagger skills?

The one reason i like bringing w-horn over focus is if I plan on being in DS a good bit. The Locust swarm still works in DS so couple that with life transfer and you can upkeep DS better. Other than that focus works fine most times if you’re not needing interrupts too.
