Honest questions to the developers. Necromancers have an entire line dedicated to leeching and yet even with every single point invested in it we have nothing which even begins to compare to Litany of Wrath. Why is it that guardians are allowed to have functional leeching but we’re not?

Yes, I realize that they don’t technically leech the health as much as just heal when hitting things but at the end of the day there isn’t much of a difference when you look at the sustain except for the guardians actually being capable of doing it. I’d gladly sacrifice the pathetic leech damage if it meant being able to sustain myself through hitting things and I’m actually kind of upset over guardians ousting us at this since I was under the impression that you guys wanted classes to have unique things going for them. Vampirism has never been viable for us and the new signet is just another slap in the face.

I agree. For now at least. Will wait to see it for myself in game. And not on a YouTube video.

Thieves leech more with leeching venoms too. They get to leech like 350 hp any time they have on a venom on top of the venom that heals on hits.

They actually dont… first of all it doesnt add damage, second, its not gonna be used in any but 3 builds, that guard heal will be very rare compared to shelter and their signet, not as rare as our since its kitten, but still very rare.

When life gives you lemon, ask if its from a anime or manga.

This was a hard livestream to watch. I was excited, because NEW SKILLS!! The devs are obviously guys who care about what they’re doing, and who are excited about unveiling this cool new thing they’ve done. But when they got to the guardian, I couldn’t believe it.

They finally added a viable damage based heal to the game. For another class.

I paused halfway through because I was stunned. Then, when I started it again I hear this:

“And this is going to heal you for all the burn damage you do.”
“And this is going to heal you for all the retaliation damage you do.”
“It’s going to be pretty much all your damage sources healing you.”

It felt like a slap.

This game hadn’t made me feel bad before this. I still really like the game, and I really like ANet and everyone else involved. And it’s just a game. But this ruined my day, IRL actually ruined my day.

They regen by base 300, their GS heals are actually identical in sheit to our siphon, but they get it as a added bonus not a main feture of the trait.
