Grenth (and the human gods in general) are not as relevant to lore in GW2 since there are more races.

We didn’t “draw” power from Grenth, in fact he may very well have not even been the god of death when magic was given to the world from the gods (Dhuum was the previous god of death, Grenth overthrew him with help from the other gods). but anywho, magic was always in the world running rampant, the gods just harnessed it in pre-packaged single serving packets for human consumption via the bloodstone. We didn’t and still don’t, need a god to use magic.

Shades and Aatxes are demons/spirits of the Underworld. It ties to my next point.

Just for the sake of nitpicking.
While it is true, our main source of power (since we kinda no longer use blood as a fuel for our skills) is the Underworld, as it was before for secondary and spiritual skills (and anything from soul reaping) like Spiteful Spirit. If it gets kittened up we lose most of our skills or they go rampage and try to slaughter us (like in the priory missions). Same for Dervishes, Eles, Non-mantra Mesmers, Spirit Rangers and Guardians.
Also Dhuum was 100% on tyria during the start thus making sure that there were necros in his time too (that couldnt rez but still) since the 7 reapers+Grenth originally were necros. Also Grenth is now kinda gone (as all gods except melandru and balth that just love screwing with quaggans/grawl respectively) and even if he could proxy his powers trough the reapers it would be a massive strain on the mists causing pretty much infinite Shady-Bs and co to spawn/cause a second nightfall since we know that UW is kinda a disaster place right now thanks to MKs stronger influence on the real world and Shady-Bs/Shade/Aatxe spawns around grenth statues and other rifts to the mists.

All credit goes to andele for ruining Shadow Fiend for everyone. It was he who originally pointed out the sperminess to me, and I have never failed to pass on the hilarity.

And I’m fine with the current minion design BUT I hope they have some more variety when it comes to later minions, and also a bit more originality (as in, stop making flesh sacks that look like real mobs in game).

It’s already our best looking minion…..

Thieves guild and venom effects on weapons (seriously its stupid that venoms dont apply effects on the weapons – if they do they are so small and kittened that i didnt notice em on my giant norn pimp woman in bright purple and yellow).

Oh god yes!!! ANet should hire us as ‘marketing junk people want to buy’. And your artist buddy for drawing cooler than our minions. (Tho, they not very ‘guild wars’ art feel to them, epicly cool tho!)(And yes, shadowsperm is my fav looking one)

Also sadly i only met Avery Coleman once and didnt even get to say bye. Just a fan all the games he designed characters for.
