Hopped on my necro after I don’t know how long and the staff sounds were completely different and well quite frankly lack luster. I loved the loud sort of wailing noise that it made. Why on earth was it changed and when?

Huh… you’re right, it does sound like a toilet. Now I can’t get that out of my head.

It was too loud. They changed it March 2013, so almost 2 years ago.

I’m actually amazed that you would still remember the old sound if you haven’t heard your or any other necro use their staff since then.

Holy kitten was it really that long ago?! I wish they would give us an option that was client side to switch back to the old one. One of the reasons I liked staff so much was because of the sound.

I loved the old sound, I even made a thread about it

While current sound…. is there any sound?…. might not be perfect, old was too loud and turning down effects volume wasn’t helpful in that case.
