I saw an image on the Internet the other day that suggests the new elite might not be able to equip torch and sceptre at the same time… if the pic is not misinformation.

Thoughts?

That would actually be very very appealing. Torch main hand. dagger offhand.

I’d like it only if it were a melee weapon. Else we’ll have 2 ranged 1h condi weapons.

I hope, which is not very likely to be both MH and OH.
MH, moderate mid-close range dmg with defensive abilities or support and OH – condi/burn oriented. But thats highly unlikely to happen…

Really wanted a skill like this for Necro. Nightfall would have been an ideal candidate.

That leak was a fake, purely made to spike mushroom prices.

That would be pretty neat, but only if it was a melee weapon. I saw the image and it appears to be on the main-hand.

Sword as our melee condi weapon with a vampiric dragon sword as our specialization weapon collection! A man can dream.

Eh, not quite what I was thinking about. I sort of imagined torch being classified as a corruption weapon so we could kill ourselves with burning in exchange for reduced cool down on torch skills, unless we bring enough condition transfers for all five pulses.
