What’s everyone’s favorite look on their necro. I think I’ve come up with my perfect combination but am interested in what others are thinking.

Head – Arah(Pefect fit for Necros)
Shoulders – Arah
Chest – Arah
Gloves – CoF
Pants – CoE
Boots – CoF
Staff – CoE(Ta comes in second)
Scepter – TA(i really hate all scepter skins)
Dagger – Arah(CoF is a close second then TA)

My issues:

#1.) Why are most of the pants skirts? I hate skirts. I want more pants options…
#2.) I’m not impressed with any of the staff skins.
#3.) Overall visual particle effects… they are extremely lacking compared to WoW.

My goal for armor sets is the HotW exotic. Looks nice and tanky, just like my little asura, and the stats happen to be just what i want as well. Also, Legionnaire axe and pact dagger (whenever that is out).

The Arah helm looks quite ridiculous on asura imo.

What about a screenshot for people at work?

1) We will probably have to fish for those in lover level items.. maybe there will be new skins in coming content patches.

3) To make legendaries look more epic. I actually like that not everyone is running around looking like a christmas tree

If they offered head sets that didn’t make you look like a princess or middle eastern woman (As an Asura at least), then maybe I would actually like the head pieces. Right now, I am sticking with the first head mask thing they give you with the pale white face, glowy eyes, and red.

I haven’t really found a look that is perfect though. I use a variety of rare reds that I have found, and I bought celestial white.

Asura boots have a problem where their toes clip out of every single one…. so there is that problem as well…

What is its animation? It is pretty hard to find a Youtube video about that staff.

Deathwish. I don’t think I’ll ever use another skin for my necro’s staff.

Pfft. The only way you can make Death Wish better is with 4 skulls. It just screams necromancer.

The whole Arahs set is completely badkitten for necro coupled with a skull or gargoyle staff(not sure if you can get these outside of spvp). The is also a perfect mid lvl set, the one with the skull for a mask and bone shoulders

Mother freaking Gargoyle/Wyvern > Skulls on a big bleached stick.

Got mine from 4 rare level 75 clerics of air~ (Btw i think you have to use 4 staves to actually get it, since never got anything special except the pear weapons from multiple types of weapons from mystic forge).

My perfect necro look is norn tatoos with no visible armor. Seriously, she looks too scary to ever cover up with any armor currently available. Until Anet makes that happen, on top of other necro fixes, my necro will just be a lvl 1 name holder.

Shoulder= Arah working on it
Jacket= TA working on it
Gloves= Arah working on it
Pants= TA already have

my necro wears full shadow set dyed black with tarnished steel, I love it but which staff should I stick to?

Mixed tier 2 n 3 cultural gear with the TA Staff. was running D/D but i think im switching to D/WH now.

My necromancer, Sudona Forte, who originated in the first GW.

It’s all exotic, since I don’t care much for some of the high-end dungeon stuff.

^^^ I believe it’s the “Modnir Quarterstaff” skin (Karma Vendor in Harathi, can’t remember which one).

As MissKitten said, Modniir Quarterstaff. You can get it in Harathi Hinterlands at Scout Greta’s heart, top right (NE) corner. She sells every weapon with a Modniir skin. Most of them are awesome.

for any caster the best armor is Seer’s set for me hands down. really works for mesmers/necros. it has that jedi look.

For now ill just mix Arah and TA on my Charr Necro but my end game armor will be the tier 3. Its so kitten good I already have deathwish but for dagger and scepter i have no idea what to farm. I want something different from the dungeons weapons

I wanted her to look more like a Queen of the Dead rather then just dead.

Personally, I really liked the goth girl look that’s seen if you choose to create a human female necro. Cabalist armour if I’m not mistaken.

This is my Neckro. Not full Arah set yet, but getting there.

I wanted to look like a super hero. Check it out:

Full Arah set on a male Norn wielding Eye of Rodgort and Malefactrym.
And a second set with Masquerade Raiment pants, shoulders and chest along with Deathwish.

^the full arah set looks awesome but the thought of doing 24+ paths of arah scares me

Nice, goofy looks from everyone! My asura necro is going to be the cutest necro of all, though.
