The Reaper shouts don’t sound menacing like I imagined they would. I love the Reaper, but my Sylvari Reaper shouting “your soul is mine” sounded like he was asking permission.

I understand that we’re supposed to be good guys and everything, but it just sounds pathetic. Maybe just a voice filter or something? Even an optional one?

Yeah, bit lackluster in the aggression department… Although, at the same time, hearing a male Sylvari say “Your soul is mine” that way seems like it would be rather condescending to your opponent, because you just sound so… bored

The only race/gender combo who gets away with it, is Charr Male, and only because their voice by default is kind of dark and gritty.

But yeah, the shouts need alot more force and ill intent behind them, I mean you have talented voice actors, just tell them what its ment to be.

If you think they’re gonna call back the voice actors for another reading of the lines (which they have to pay for) only a month and a half away from release, you’re one hell of an optimist.
