Zerker necro Stats
Full Ascended with Eagle runes, Force/accuracy sigil:
2381 power
1967 armor
65.9% crit chance
220.7% crit damage
19212 health
Heres a pic. WvW bonus gave me some extra health (you can see actual value in hero panel). Food is experimental remnants which doesnt give any stats. It just gives 8% damage while moving (best budget food for necro). Gear is berserker, scholar runes and night + force sigils. Basically your standard PvE gear.
Bare in mind assassins armour is actually better for dagger necros in PvE currently. But that wont be true anymore once Reaper comes out.

Thank you guys
So Zerker is our new WvW Meta?
I was really excited about being a condi-tank.
Necro – [BanD]Nighnus the Black

kitten zerk meta, unless you want to absolutely do the top tier amount of damage. Otherwise, do what you want. You’ll be more effective that way, anyway, for the most part
I’m not like Straight up Zerk, but in my current build I sit at:
2718 Power
21K HP
2629 Armor
200% Crit Damage
52% Crit Chance
Build is here for anyone Curious:
You can swap Blood for death for more power/toughness if you want.

I run Pvt without problems.
Necro is in the WvW meta only because does it immense aoe (power based) damage.
Gearing for the maximum amount of damage possible while still not getting insta-wrecked is the optimum setup for any necro in a WvW group. Anything less/anything else and you are gimping yourself and your team/server/guild.
All that said, running a full single gearset in WvW is rarely a good idea.

Just minus 180 power and you have the normal amount. :>

Wait when did it ever stop being meta, lol?
That said, I prefer the hybrid. Much, much better survivability, especially if your commander goes nuts and try to 20 vs full zoneblob in an enemy garrison.

Yeah I put SoS on my build, I like the extra power personally, but even without your power levels are fine at ~2540. And I’m not gonna get 1 shot if a Mesmer decides to use some lol shatter outta nowhere combo.
Lack of a Stunbreak doesn’t bother me much, haven’t had problems with being stunlocked too much unless im gonna die anyways due to zerg diverting to come kill me while im running around by myself (yes it happens.) If it bugs you, you can always run foot in the grave, or take spectral armor or whatever.

You dont want to run either really. Foot in the grave still cant compete with +50% crit (the stability is too short and still just one measly stack) and spectral armor is redundant since you now get traited wells for the meta wellbomber because you might can use well of power as third skill. Not quite as long protection, but decent condi cleanse for the zerg and stunbreaker for you.

No doubt man, I just figure I would explain my choice on taking SoS because someone in one of the above posts felt the need to call my stats out as using SoS to fluff my power a bit.
