Guild Wars 2

So I just hit 80. I am running a condition build. Uptil now I have been using carrion armor.

I plan on getting a set of rampagers for pve, dungeon runs etc. But I would also like to pick up a set for WvW and am wondering what would be a better pick, rabid or possibly dire for more tankyness.

Any suggestions?

Also any suggestions on what runes to get for gear?

Full carrion + Scav runes are the dominant pve condi setup (for fractals and wurm/taco at least).

As far as WvW goes would the carrion and scavenger suffice? or would I be better of looking into rabid or dire perhaps as a second set?

Dont play much wvwvw, thus cant really comment on that, reddit and the wvwvw subforum are probably better locations to ask for that, most of us here are quite cynical.

using conditions for wvw, full rabid for max bleed stacks and burn procs, full dire for max condition damage per tick and tankyness or dire armor with rabid weapons and accessories as deemed necessary. I dont recommend carrion or rampager since you wont be able to resist bursts and cc chains as good as with dire and rabid
