Was looking at my abilities and wondering:Maybe i should spec having corrosive poison cloud as a cc to help with archers.

I could for an example:Use it while escaping against thieves and rangers?

Technically speaking it says in description that arrows that pass through are destroyed, so it makes me wonder.I mean it would be useless vs rain of arrows attack, but vs quickshot?

What do you guys think? would it work vs like:Thief shortbow shots?

It work against every projectile, destroying it (eventually destroying also unblockable projectiles, i think -never tested-) then it’s a good skill against ranger, guardian and other classes that use projectiles.
Thief SB isn’t really dangerous as damage but can be useful to stop it’s movement spam using the CCPC, but it can not work if the enemy just shot in another direction or use another movement skill. Rangers can swap to staff and continue to hit you with the channeling AA.

It’s a good counter to every projectiles but isn’t a perfect defence against that classes. But yes, if you really need you can use it and run away, making the enemy ranger waste his rapid fire without land a hit. But you need to run really fast if you want to flee from him without any movement skill. (necro lack of it, unless for RS2 that have an aftercast that waste all the distance obtained)

Unblockable projectiles ignore all reflects and destruction, as do siege.

But CPC is still a very good utility. Rangers have one ranged skill that they can use against you through a CPC, and if you place it on yourself, for those 8 seconds, most classes have to fight you under Weakness and Poison if they want to do anything at all.

I use it to pretty great effect in PVP. Solid skill. combo with yanks (like buffed spectral grasp) for maximum control.
