damage bonus of DS AA
That can be a thing, but in a large amount of situations you’re lesser than 600 far from your enemy (spvp, some pve situations and some little cases in www).
I think that it’s ok like it is.
They would have to change all Death Shroud’s skills to accomplish that goal.
1 gets more damage when you’re close.
2 is a blink to get you into melee range.
3 increases in duration when you’re close.
4 is a point-blank AoE.
5 is a point-blank AoE that cuts out if a target moves away from you, and when it ends it roots them in place (where they’re near to you).
It’s probably better to accept that the Necromancer is always going to be about getting up close and personal, and the Reaper just takes that to more of an extreme.

Everything I say is only in reference to PvE and WvW.
Even if they rework DS, why removing the bonus damage? Everybody will be trying to get close to you and you want to get rid of the additional damage that punishes that!? Thats weird suggestion.
