Thanks for your kind words. It’s workable, but still bad. At least they made adjustments in the right direction this time, it just wasn’t the right numbers exactly. If they’re willing to work with us and openly discuss it, we’ll get sorted out in no time. That’s better than I can say for some other classes/specs, at least.

I’m having a pretty good time on base terrormancer. It doesn’t seem that bad so far. It could be worse for us, we could be guardians.
Necro kind of feels all old school now. Like driving a Ford Pinto.
Problem is, signets are bugged anyway, so as long as Anet doesnt do nothing…

Good point to bring up. Thankfully Reaper has a very solid base design, so bringing things back in line is relatively simple, requiring mostly small tuning, rather than a full rework.
It needed to happen and I think they nerfed it just the right amount. I’ve played the meta condi chill necro and I’ve played against it plenty. I built my ele fully around fighting condi necros and they could still keep minimum 3 conditions on my ele at all time even with my build being able to clear 2-3 conditions a second.
It needed nerfed badly, if you think its nerfed out of viability, its because you were never truly good at necro, you were just taking advantage of an incredibly over powered over-sight from the expansion that was the reaper chill damage.
I think Deathly Chill got nerfed out of viability, but not Condition Reaper as a whole.
Thanks for saying that as a thief main. I miss my chill dmg and feel like they could have just reduced duration and that would have been fine. Necro does feel old school again, less variety and a bigger focus on bleeds rather than condi in general.
