I played in beta, started in launch for a little bit but RL took it’s toll and I had to let the game sit. I have some more free time now, so I’m trying to play some again. I made a necro and just hit lvl 18. I noticed the changes that they just implemented definitely made me squishier.
So I looked and it appears the general consensus is that Necros just got a significant nerf. Before I get too much further, should I switch to Ele or something else?
Long term goals will be WvW and some sPVP.
Necro did not take a significant nerf.
They essentialy made big hits overflow into your health bar but they also fixed Death Shroud so that it is 100% of your HP now.
People are complaining because the fact that big hits did not overflow to HP was extremely useful against dungeon bosses.
