Can this change happen plz!

The way signets work and and because necromancers are encouraged, by lots of traits, to stay in death shroud (you end up in death shroud for ~50% of combat time depending on the build), signets are rarely used other than sos, and even then it is used only for it’s active effect.
This is really annoying because all signets-sov have good passive and active effects, and fit in lots of builds but because you lose them for half of the fight they are a lot less attractive.

+1, it makes exactly 0 sense that we’re the only profession that can turn off our own signet passives without activating the skill.

I support this as well. The number of mechanics we have to sacrifice when we enter Death Shroud is astounding, and this would be a great first step to making these skills more useful.

+1, it makes exactly 0 sense that we’re the only profession that can turn off our own signet passives without activating the skill.

Ele and Warrior can as well, but that’s through their own elite skills.

Well the rationale is all transform skills remove signet passive effects, but DS doesn’t work like any other transform skill anyway: recharge starts from when it ends rather than when it starts, it needs a charge-up, you can’t get healed from ANY source while in it (neither your regular HP nor your life force), you get to keep spectral effects (so some utilities work while others don’t), you still use your weapon damage for attacks, it’s just a clustersmudge of arbitrary “balancing” choices that make no sense, because it’s impossible to balance something that can give us anything between 0-120% bonus HP!!

The sooner they completely overhaul it, the better.

A bad necromancer always blames the corpse.
