Is there such a thing as a poison necromancer build I usually play as a minion master but I feel like doing something different

1. Equip Scepter.
2. You’re done!

There’s no real point in trying to play a “poison Necromancer” because the profession has incredibly easy access to the condition and because poison doesn’t deal much damage anyway.

Alternatively, you can stay Minion Master and use the Death Nova trait.

If you’re playing Minion Master you’ve got like 300% poison uptime already. It is extremely common for me to respawn as MM and still see poison ticks across the map.

Or the stupidly OP doom sigil…

Poison tends to work better in PvP than WvW and much better than PvE because it trims healing and because it stacks in duration, which is not often capped in PvP outside scepter AA or Bhawb continuously blowing up his minions but is capped in PvE or cleansed frequently in WvW.

You should be able to get plenty of poison but where to use it is the real question.

Play a Poison Master Ranger and enjoy your 500 per tick Poison damage with 100% uptime.
