powermancer runes!
Welp, as for WvW I use Traveler runes. They’re good for every roaming profession, maybe except of Engineer.
As for tPvP I use Speed runes cuz of bonus vitality.

Mostly small group and solo (so about 60% small group and 40% solo) most if not all my game time is spent on wvw only.
Id say wait till patch, test the axe/warhorn swiftness upkeep (replacing staff but its looking weak ) and potential S.Walk in your build.
If no, take traveler/speed runes, the boost without clicking anything and out of combat is amzing lazymode, i often rather run dungeons in my celestial traveler set than switch to zerker and keep clicking warhorn.
Strenght Runes with Reapers Might, no Substitute…. u loose to much on Trav-Runes for Speed imho and Sp.Walk gives u speed. Whatever u do DONT use Sig of locust dead noob-giveaway

Yeah, strength runes sadly are the way to go for power. I can get 10 stacks of might no worries with dagger, just from sigils of might, because of them. RIP my old divinity runes though.
I use traveller runes, that way i can run 3 skills – well of corruption, well of suffering and spectral armour…. only way to go imo. I run traveller runes on every toon i have except warrior where i run strength runes (he gets the +25% with melee weapons anyway).

You don’t need travelers or swiftness if you have a decent group you should be able to have swiftness up alot. If you are falling behind let your group know that you are a fatty necro =) the three runesets I use are strength, melandru and hoelbrek

I roam Solo like 80% of ingame time and Str Runes are far superior, I run with Sp.Walk tho whatever build I use, best juke skill ingame… dont leave home without it.

As long as runes give you power or might is good for somebuilds, it doesn’t make much difference.
Ogre runes are fine for general use. Earth runes (or whatever they were called) work fine if you want protection uptime. Might/boon duration runes if you use a lot of might. Wurm runes also work with some setups etc.
It’s really much up to what kind of traits and skills you have together to get maximum effect and hard to say what’s best if you don’t know exactly what you have.
If you running with a Zerg, trade that zerker armor for Pvt armor. Otherwise you will have huge problems fighting in siege. Wear Earth Runes for protection uptime.

Strength or Hoelbrek with might on life blast. I’m using Ogre because I’m broke but strength runes are certainly optimal for damage

I actually favor knight armor because of necro’s decent hp and good condi cleanse/transfers. Runes I use melandru.
But if you have reaper’s might like on 62006 then yea, hoelbrek.
