As you know:People love to zerg necros down by snaring rooting and then blasting them down.I changed my build a bit from the meta which had weakening shroud from shrouding.

More dmg more duration.I feel like the weakening shroud isn’t helping much anyways.
Yeah you deal more dmg in reaper form, but i feel like you will be out of shroud form more than half the time and dead anyways, and you start with 0 anyways so the dmg will help burn down people faster.

Lower the cd to 2 seconds and increase the range to 3000.Personally:I think it should punish enemies who spam stuff on you such as bleeds and ccs.

Either that, or melee cc needs to be nerfed.

Possibility number two:

Decrease the cd of the wurm by 1 second and possibly range for teleportation.This could work as a way to escape tool.

Plague signet is stacked, very stacked with the trait and also has an auto cast trait. I’m sure there is some way to improve it reasonably but I seriously doubt anyone has the golden answer.

I feel like something has to be done to make necros survive longer.I feel like between consume conditions cd i need more survivability vs ccs and hopefully some way to escape better.I feel like wurm helps sometimes but it on a cd and i personally feel like while necro is a team player, i would like to survive and possibly win due to outplaying my opponent rather than losing due to 1:Enemy having better mechanics and 2:losing because my classes mechanics are lacking.I understand i’m not the best necro ever, i am working on getting better, but after like 2 months, i realize there comes a point even after switching abilities that there is only so much you can do to keep off warriors with invincibility and rangers with root snare and knockback.

Others on the forum have asked for improvements of mechanics for necro such as more lifetap more this more that.I would be perfectly fine in trading some damage for more cc and even better survivability.

Another idea would be to implement a pvp ability of shield bursting.I just thought of hte idea from wow where some abilities can deal little damage but some dmg through shields to make you not completely god mode, even if its something like 30% less damage but pierce immunity shield of warriors and all.Or boon corrupt having the ability to turn your immunity shield into a damage shield where you take more dmg instead.

If you have any positive improvements then list them here so then maybe the designers can have some ideas to improve necros functionality in pvp.

On second thought:20 seconds not 2 seconds.2 seconds is too spammy

I thing that signet should be undefendable and a homing beam. So it would clear condis either ot hit the enemy or not.

Yeah i made a mistake by forgetting to add a 0.It feels like the cd is pretty long and we are repeatedly snared by pulse by druids.Maybe after its used a 5 second immunity to cc?

If you want to make the necro more survivable, you need either a decent escape tool or reliable condi cleanses (not transfers). The best way to get rid of condi’s now is to transfer them, but that means that they can be missed/dodged/blocked. Our access to stability has been significantly improved which is good, and our stunbreaks have been improved as well.

Lots of invulnerability for necromancer’s that get focused. Some for necromancers that make a Mesmer friend. A good long 3 seconds for a necromancer in wvw that even compliments the new bleed bot.
