pvp necromancer influx!
Videos or it didn’t happen.
What is whingeing?
means the same as complaining.
I dont take videos when i play, I shouldn’t have to prove it, it was epic.
ive never 1v1 a necro as a necro myself, and it was so hard! conditions were getting transferred, consumed and removed left right and centre.
loved the fights.
we’re not kitten we just don’t have a working class mechanic

Lol epic way of saying ’ we don’t suck were just a broken class ’
No I’ve,noticed that IM no,longer, the, only necro any more.
you mean DS? I actually love the DS abilities (chill, fear, and huge crits on 1 and 4’s) the only gripe I have with necro is the mobility. other than that I think necros are great.
I agree condition necros have less use for DS than power/crit necros like myself however.
8vs8 sPvP clearly is the best indicator of a class’ potential.
What is whingeing?
It’s British-speak for “whining”.
There are relatively a good number of necros in spvp and free tournaments. I don’t play paid tournaments so I can’t tell.
But I have to object with your “as necros, thieves are easy bait” phrase. Yeah, if you are both 1v1 coming at eachother in open space with full health, then yeah, you can beat the thief easy, but wait… good thieves don’t do that. You can hardly see them coming. You are already in a fight or low health from another fight, then they jump at you in stealth, stealth away, jump at you again, rinse and repeat until you’re dead. It’s not impossible to deal with that situation, but it’s hard with necromancers. So, “easy bait” is a bit too much.
Out of my personal experience, having enough life force before a fight begins seems to be a very important factor on the outcome of the fight. It’s hard to beat a necromancer 1v1 if the necro sees the enemy coming and is already at full life force, but seeing as how slow you can generate life force in spvp, that’s a big if!

Our death shroud is average or less than average in most cases. Our summons suck in pvp cause they die too easy.
ds is decent in a power build but only if your lf bar is near max while attacking in ds, great in a bunker build, and meh in other builds mostly used to soak damage. We need another use for life force not just death shroud. Minions and life force go hand in hand. Summon minion lose life force, summon the dead lose life force, summon the dead lose life force, summon the dead lose life force. now you got an army to summon over and over.
btw I noticed it too.
I have a lvl 80 full exotic thieg too, im aware of their play style and in WvW agree they are not easy to kill. but pvp is different and I don’t feel threatened by them, just an annoyance.
life force is a drag sometimes specially when you have 0 going into a fresh fight but I dknt have too many issues generating life force fast so can get around that if im not against big burst builds.
Some weapons have very little life force build up. Scepter combined with Dagger OH which are the bread and butter of condition builds have very little life force build up.
I have always said that necros need more life force build up through their skills and less through enemy deaths. That will make it a bit more balanced. Even if you kill a 1 shot critter, you get 10 life force (11 with gluttony) but when you are in a long attrition fight, your life force pool is much harder to fill. This sounds very ironic for an “attrition” class.
I agree, this is partly why I play axe focus/staff. without gluttony I still manage to build lf fairly consistently, of course there are spectral skills to turbo boost your lf generation but this does take away from your utility as a condition spec. I would like to see a buff regarding this issue also to make scepter/staff more viable.
the only thing I wanna see is a buff to scepters lf gain and a change to. Feast of corruption is a joke it does not even do condition damage. Even with all of the conditions applied from signet of spite it only does like 1k damage. They need to add poison to it or cut its cooldown by 50% and actually make it useful. I don’t think that staff needs a buff though. It our second best main hand besides dagger to generate lf, it does a good job for 1200 range.
yeah I agree. I didn’t mean a buff to staff, just the weapon set as axe and dagger are fast lf gain. staff isnt bad, it is VERY good when traited
