ranged dungeon mobs
Try Well of Darkness. I imagine Spectral Grasp works wonders, too, but I haven’t tried it. The Well and Deathly Swarm make rangers laughable.
aggro flops around all the time during dungeons. most times if your locked onto a mob for to long you have to flat out run away from them or LoS them until they switch target. my melee necro runs effebling shrouds in both offhand dagger and the crit line, while also stackign corrsive poisin. I find perma weakened mobs are easier to deal with
Nice, I think well of darkness will work great. Blindness causes a mob to miss 1 attack right? Well of darkness would make ranged mobs very manageable for that 8 seconds.
I notice the melee mobs switching aggro quite a bit, but sometimes ranged mobs will attack me even if I haven’t touched them. And I’ve hid from line of
sight for quite a while waiting for cooldowns just to come out and get tagged again repeatedly by the same mob. I’m curious if ranged mobs like to target the farthest person away maybe? Or if getting close to them would make them more likely to switch targets.
it’s honestly just an aggro juggle. you will get a hang of what ticks certain mobs off. distance, damage dealt etc all play a role, but in most instances you can break their aggro and get back into the fight without being focused.
The warrior and guardian should have something similar to a “taunt”.
