Hey guys

I played Necro for a while now and came up with a heavy burst/life steal build:

http://www.gw2build.com/builds/simulator.php#1.5.1.4.18.13.24.5.5.5.106.108.127.123.129.2.2.44.302.310.312.0.0.0.331.0.0.346.347.350.0.0.0.30.0.10.30.0

May look squishy, but it’s not.
You steal health like a true Vampire and deal damage like a berserker.
In fact, you even kill guardians and warriors with ease.
In sPvP people even started running on sight! (Fear 2.0)

Imobilize your foe, get 10 stacks of Might, place the Well, Focus 4 Skill and now start shredding.
In Death shroud form your 4th spell is a total nightmare for the enemy team, since it deals heavy dmg now. (even more than before!)
You get LF so freaking fast you can almost use it on cooldown.
You have 1 Imobilize, 1 knockdown 1 chill on your Main weaponset + Blind & Weakness on your second.
You can deal ~15k dmg in 3 Seconds with Dagger2, Well, Focus 4 and Axe2 (or just keep shredding with your daggers which crits for 2k-3k [10 Might+3 Vuln. on your enemy])

I played this build on sPvP and Tournaments succesfull and it’s a lot of fun!
Troll your enemies with spectral walk, send conditions straight back to them and suprise them with heavy direct damage.

Hint: in the rare case that you feel to squishy (-> not makeing use of all your skills) swap spectral walk to spectral armor.

Try it out!

Regards,
Aeri

What if they dodge your immobilize? Then you’re just left with a crappy build for 25sec. People keep posting these useless builds because they got a few kills in 8vs8 where it doesn’t matter what build you run since people there tend to run equally pointless builds.

The immobilize is nothing to get mad about, but if you lose because one of your skills gets dodged there is nothing left to do than pitty you.
Seriously, there is no 100% sure kill build.

If you can’t utilize your skills in the right moment this build is not for you.
You will need generel understanding of the necromancer and other classes.
As I said, this is no Glascanon. You have plenty of health and lifereg + good defensive mechanisms. If immobilize misses you have 2 options: alt + f4, then uninstall the game or keep on hurting your foes with your 2sec stun, your cripple or your freeze.
If all that gets dodged as well because you use it all at the wrong time you can still dish out loads of damage and help your team with the well and other stuff.

So unless you really tried this build, I can’t take your criticism seriously.
Once again: there is no “I Win Button”, so stop complaining about that.
The Build offers high burst with decent survivability.

Looking forward to read usefull comments and improvements.

Replace your secondary weapon set with a staff for better condition management and utility in general. Also forget about life leech, it’s just not viable on any level of play. Not sure why you picked chill of death over training of the master running flesh golem as your elite either.
