shroud visibility
If you are relatively new to the game, I highly suggest you take a look at all the camera options. I slid the sliders back alllllll the way, so I can see as much of the battlefield as possible
So no, it has not been a problem for me.
Hi I have been playing since beta but had very long breaks and returned a bit ago and I have not been playing the necro for long. With sliders all the way back you mean low settings? Playing on a strong computer, I am playing at highest settings, maybe that is a mistake then? It is a shame though when we have to make the game less pretty in order to see what is going on.

No, they mean the Field of View slider.
Turning off post-processing takes out all the darky-darky stuff except those around the border.

Yea man but not everyone likes to play with starcraft camera view
Well, with certain camera settings come certain drawbacks. One can not play first person view and complain how his field of view is narrow, or go ‘starcraft camera view’ and say they don’t see all the small details on enemy armor.
Game can get pretty saturated with all magical effects, but that’s one of the things that makes the combat. If there’s a bright shinning thing 1 meter away from you it’s only natural that you get distracted.
If you overlook enemies on ground then you need to improve on your situation awareness.
